Meet Our Doctors
Jess Haymore, DDS
Dr. Jess Haymore is continuing the tradition of providing trusted, quality dental care set by his father, Dr. John Haymore, who was the first dentist in Oro Valley more than 30 years ago. For Dr. Jess, dentistry is an extension of family and community, and he is dedicated to ensuring that each patient receives the finest care possible.
Dr. Haymore obtained his DDS degree from the University of Washington School of Dentistry in 2002. Since then, he has established himself as a leading dental provider in Oro Valley. His extensive skills in restorative, cosmetic, and implant dentistry, combined with his pleasant chairside manner and sense of humor, make him a favorite with patients of all ages.
Both Dr. Jess and his wife, Tania, are Arizona natives. They have five children who stay busy with sports, dance, music, and a variety of other activities. He is actively involved in the Oro Valley community and church-based services, from organizing community projects to helping run youth dances and supporting El Tour de Tucson aid stations. As an avid athlete, he enjoys playing soccer and participating in running and cycling events.
Samuel D. Peterson, DMD
Dr. Sam Peterson joined Innovation Dental in July 2018. He graduated from Temple University’s Kornberg School of Dentistry in 2013. Early in his career, Dr. Peterson worked at Fine Arts Dental Lab and served at a community health center, gaining valuable experience in both dental aesthetics and function.
His commitment to professional excellence is evident daily—both to our team and the patients he treats. Dr. Peterson ensures each patient is greeted warmly, feels heard, and understands the recommended treatment plan along with any available alternatives.
Outside the office, Dr. Peterson enjoys spending time with his wife and five children. The family is highly involved in their church, and the children participate in various sports and activities. His personal interests include reading, cooking, and rock climbing.
Brian Adams, DMD
Dr. Brian Adams is a welcome addition to the Innovation Dental team. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Midwestern College of Dental Medicine–AZ, where he excelled both academically and in hands-on clinical practice. Known for his compassionate approach and patient-focused philosophy, Dr. Adams strives to create a reassuring environment for every patient.
Believing in open communication, Dr. Adams collaborates closely with patients to achieve optimal oral health outcomes. He is excited to build lasting relationships in the Oro Valley community and continue the legacy of outstanding care at Innovation Dental.
Outside the office, Dr. Adams enjoys spending time with his wife, Brooke, and their two daughters. Relatively new to Tucson, they have quickly embraced everything the city has to offer. He also enjoys an active lifestyle, sports with his girls, and trying new restaurants in the area. Dr. Adams looks forward to making a positive impact on patient care at Innovation Dental.

Allison – Dental Hygienist
Hello! My name is Allison. I am a proud Tucson native and have worked with Dr. Haymore for over 20 years. I feel incredibly fortunate to come to work each day in an environment that’s compassionate, skilled, and innovative—every day feels like I hit the jackpot! I’ve been happily married to my husband, Michael, for over 25 years, and we have two children, Michael and Anntonette. In my free time, I serve in my church, do my best to follow the Golden Rule, and enjoy traveling, reading, spoiling my dogs, cooking, four-wheeling, and making people laugh.
Rebecca – Dental Hygienist
We’ve had the pleasure of having Rebecca as part of our Innovation Dental family since 2010. She has been a dental hygienist for over 11 years, graduating from Grand Rapids Community College in Michigan—where she was born and raised. Rebecca loves spending time with her son, traveling, hiking, playing pickleball, and socializing with friends. We’re thrilled she traded snowy winters for our Arizona sunshine!
Gail – Dental Assistant
Gail has been a dental assistant for over 22 years and joined Innovation Dental and Dr. Haymore in August 2015. She graduated from the White Mountain School of Dental Assisting and is married with three children and three grandchildren! Gail enjoys cooking, hiking, and family time. She also volunteers with the non-profit AWANA, where she has been actively involved for the last 15 years.
Crystal – Dental Assistant
Crystal has been a dental assistant for over 8 years and joined Innovation Dental in September 2015. She graduated from Pima Medical Institute and was born and raised right here in Arizona. In her spare time, Crystal loves watching and playing basketball and football, and traveling abroad with her husband.
Nicole – Dental Hygienist
Hi! I’m Nicole. I’ve been practicing at Innovation Dental for over 7 years and absolutely love working with our doctors and our caring team. This practice is like no other—we only recommend what is truly necessary and stay very conservative with treatment. I have more than 15 years of experience, and I value feedback from my patients, learning what products work for them, and ensuring they’re comfortable while keeping their teeth healthy.
I really enjoy getting to know my patients and hearing about their life experiences. Working in our community, I’m lucky to meet people from all over the country and the world who come to Tucson for its natural beauty. I’m a proud mother of two sons, Hunter and Trystan, and a daughter, Kami. I also adore being grandma to my fun and loving grandson, Luka. In my free time, I love fishing, camping, geocaching, spending time with family, and cheering on the Arizona Cardinals.
Andrea – Insurance & Billing Specialist
Andrea is our Insurance and Billing Specialist, ensuring every patient’s account and claims process runs smoothly. She is here to answer any questions about insurance coverage, payment plans, and billing inquiries. Andrea’s commitment to detail and clear communication helps our patients feel confident in their financial arrangements, so they can focus on maintaining a healthy, beautiful smile.

I broke a tooth and had major anxiety about having it fixed. I called the office on Monday morning and they got me in to see Dr Peterson on Tuesday. Now I don’t want to make you think this was like a treat but let me tell you, it was wonderful. Easy, quick, painless and caring.
